The responsibilities of a Senior Media Planner

Your responsibilities as Senior Media Planner reach far and will have a huge impact on the growth of the company in multiple European Countries. You’ll own and execute the communications strategy and media planning with agencies by utilising insights and a profound knowledge of TV, radio, OOH etc. The budgets are sizable to say the least to allow you to have impact. The challenge? Provide data driven analysis to deliver on marketing objectives and branding KPIs. As this position works closely together with various specialisms to secure alignment in brand communication, multitasking and stakeholder management is key. To sum up:

  • Own and execute the strategy and media planning on TV, Radio and OOH
  • Deliver on marketing objectives, optimise performance, ad spend and deliver on branding KPIs by making data driven decisions
  • Ensure across content production team, analysts, channel marketing managers while delivering an authentic brand proposition

The unicorn we're looking for

We’re not just looking for anyone to fulfill this vacancy. It’s hard to get in and for a good reason. Although budgets are high, so are expectations. They are still in start-up mode and this means shit does not get done for you, you have to get shit done. They only want the best that are not afraid to rise to the challenge. So what notches have you gained recently?

  • +/- 5 years of offline media experience (TV is an absolute must) at agency or tech/eCom (strong preference)
  • Having managed and localised campaigns across multiple EU countries
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of demand generation and exposure to digital in the last couple years
