The organisation

We are looking for a Optimisation Lead for an internationally well-known sportswear brand that recently opened their brand new office in Amsterdam. For over 100 years, this global organisation aims to understand the movement of people and designing products to match. They have worldwide offices and opened their office in Amsterdam at the end of 2018. Now, the focus of the Site Management team is on in housing the site operations stream. You, as a project manager, will play an essential role in continuously optimizing the digital user experience for the EMEA region, enabling the future growth plans.

The job description

As Optimisation Lead you will be responsible for the development and execution of the optimisation roadmap for the EMEA region across all e-commerce sites. You will take full ownership to discover opportunities, based on the incoming data, and establish short and long term objectives. You will proactively identify trends and insights and take a lead role in delivering website improvements, of course with the flexibility to adapt in a rapidly evolving environment. Key responsibilities of this vacancy are:

  • Measure and report performance of site KPI’s, and assess against key business goals including analysis and recommendations for further action
  • Coordinate between global, regional and local teams on a day to day basis to ensure alignment between all key contacts and regions
  • Prioritize and lead key testing initiatives, like AB tests, to validate quantitative and qualitative evidence

Requirements for the Organisation Lead

As Optimisation Lead, you are the vital part that strategically supports the global team. To become the ideal candidate for this role, you are a native expert in UX optimisation and measurement of best practices. You have a hands-on mindset and you are able to work with multiple projects while keeping your head cool. Other must-haves are:

  • +/- 5 years of e-commerce experience, ideally in the apparel industry
  • In-depth knowledge of user testing methodologies/roadmaps, ideally within a retail environment
  • Proven project management experience and the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver solid business results
