The Director Digital Commerce holds responsibility for developing and growing the digital sales channel. Unique in this position is that one will cover the full spectrum from strategy development to down-to-earth implementation. This new role will report into the Executive Board and works in close cooperation with the central team members as well as with senior stakeholders in the regions and different functional areas.
The objective is to focus on building standalone products and the ambition is to have a global footprint in due time. Key responsibilities include:
The person we’re looking for needs to have a proven track record in developing and building a scalable digital business. Someone who had experience in design and building the required digital business organization; someone who can develop concepts to align e-commerce with the global agent / dealer network and can co-lead the project from a business perspective. Ultimately, this role is about building a focused, entrepreneurial digital team to run the e-commerce business. Job requirements include:
