Do you have experience with business model transformation and market disruption? Are you passionate about growing a commercial team to generate scalable, repeatable, and predictable revenue? We are looking for a world-class Chief Commercial Officer to lead the global commercial strategy, proposition, and teams across Europe, UK, North America (Boston) and APAC (Melbourne).

Their mission is to make education choice transparent globally.With 30 million hits on their website in 2017, they offer international marketing and recruitment solutions used by more than 3,000 participating universities in 114 countries globally. The team now consists of 190 people worldwide with 35 different nationalities. The centre of their operations is in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, also often referred to as technology capital of Europe.

Job Description

The company is dedicated to the challenge to 10-fold our revenue over the next 5 years. As they have recently concluded an investment round, they are currently going through an acceleration phase. Aligning the entire revenue process is key to reaching these ambitions.Your goals & responsibilities include:

  • Achieve growth targets, as well as scaling and aligning the commercial team (approximately 30 employees); Optimise and own the commercial strategy, acceleration of the business-model transformation
  • Bring structure and professionalisation (KPI, funnel building etc) into the sales organization; develop and implement robust sales management processes – pipeline, account planning, and proposals; create accountibility
  • Act as a sparring partner to the CEO and rest of MT; bring strong stakeholder management as well as people management skills to upgrade your own sales organisation

Requirements

People respect you as an inspirational leader, you provide gateways to ensure success, you are analytic and you dare to make tough and bold choice. In your previous multinational experience you have grown, trained, and managed high-performing, ideally consultative sales teams.

By nature, you are highly analytical and have proven multiple successes in funnel optimization. You are also able to work in a scale-up environment. You are comfortable with executive presence.

Further requirements include:

  • University degree with 10+ years work experience including management responsibility of multiple teams, and a track record of commercial success in a B2B environment, including experience in a disruptive/transitional business
  • Multinational people management experience, including managing remote locations; native or, near native English, both verbal and written
  • Experience in managing (consultative) sales cycles in governmental / non-profit organisations
