This organization is on a mission to help people preserve and relive memories, that are nowadays scattered between social networks and devices. They do so by offering the most frictionless experience to create a beautiful photo book in seconds from pictures posted on Social Media. Job Description

The organization is expanding their high quality service offering, and has been growing steadily from a start-up into a scale-up opportunity, with current growth figures over 100%. With the vast majority of their current revenue coming from the US market, their ambition is to scale and expand internationally, diversify their product offering and strengthen their commercial proposition.

To achieve this they are looking for an internationally experienced Chief Commercial Officer. In this position you take full accountability for the further expansion into the European and international markets, achieving top line revenue growth, and increasing contribution margin. With all the knowledge you gained you keep the company ahead of potential threats, identify opportunities and guide the company to new successes. With a strong background in marketing, you will also directly lead the growth / marketing organization, and provide critical input and guidance to set the marketing strategy and key deliverables going forward.

Additionally, this role is part of the Senior Leadership team and acts as a sparring partner to the CEO on the daily operational business. You will lead the Management Team consisting of the Head of Customers Happiness (customer support & after sales), CTO (product), and the Head of Growth (performance marketeers), and their associated teams (key focus being on the growth team). Together with the CEO you set the strategy for the company high level, and are subsequently responsible for appropriate execution of this strategy.


This vacancy requires the following:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in economics, business studies or comparable, with a proven track record in online businesses / e-commerce business models
  • Significant international experience in managing growth; you are a commercial leader with a strong track record in marketing and business management
  • You inspire people and transport your energy; you know how to connect people; you have a strong sense of responsibility, and you lead by example. You are smart, critical and creative and have experience in setting structure and managing an international team

They need someone who is not afraid to take on this huge challenge, who is critical, creative and a challenger for the team and their clients. Passionate, energetic, and intrinsic drive to continuously improve our and his/her own performance; a presenter also on Boardroom level with experience in dealing with senior stakeholders.
