Senior Research Consultant

About the Senior Research Consultant job position

The position of Senior Research Consultant is a new one in our company and involves pre-sorting for further growth and development. As a Senior Research Consultant you have three main tasks. Firstly, you are jointly responsible for shaping the content and procedures of our research activities and further developing these. This will be done in conjunction with the executive search Directors. You will also help the Directors to find the right candidates for the various roles of ultimate responsibility ranging from positions in the MT, the board of directors and C-level positions (CMO, CEO, CCO, CPTO, CDO), all within the digital domain. In this you will have a pioneering role and you will be in the lead for a range of candidate searches. Lastly, you will support the Directors in the process and project management where necessary so that they can remain focussed on clients (and candidates). You will also work with our working students where necessary.

As Senior Research Consultant your specific responsibilities include:

  • Setting up a new activity with the goal of searching for, finding and co-assessing candidates. For this you will use our own platform and external platforms such as LinkedIn.
  • Carrying out the entire search process independently: setting up the search strategy (in conjunction with the Directors), mapping out the market systematically, searching for suitable candidates in the Newpeople database, on LinkedIn and using other sources as well as actively expanding our network and pools of candidates;
  • You are responsible for ensuring the processes run smoothly. You ensure the planning is adhered to, you plan meetings with candidates and clients and keep the database up to date etc.

About you

You help further shape the team using your independent attitude, structure and analytical and communication skills, thereby also allowing the team to grow. Do you recognise yourself in  the profile below?

  • You have a number of years of experience as a (Senior) Research Consultant, preferably at one of the regular executive search companies and have the ambition of setting up research activities at a progressive company that is active in the digital domain and to further professionalise said activities. Affinity with digital, e-commerce and/or online is, naturally, an advantage.
  • You are a clear thinker, communicator and doer. You keep an overview, are proactive, and you are capable of working and acting on several different projects simultaneously. In doing the above, you are independent and confident;
  • You are good at communicating and building relationships, which means you can seamlessly make connections. You are curious, have a sense of humour and you are resourceful. And, you fit in with Newpeople’s core values.
