DutchChannels is a a fast growing start-up that, being an international player, sells video-on-demand subscriptions for 5 niche platforms (NewFaithNetwork, WithLove, Flixi en TheaterThuis). They have a strong international online growth strategy, which is why they asked Newpeople to connect them with a number of interim managers and specialists on a short-term basis, who can help them realise their ambitions of growth.

The kind of leadership that fits a rapidly growing digital pure player like DutchChannels is an entrepreneur that spots opportunities to grow quickly and that picks up these opportunities themself. DucthChannel’s big ambition is something they want to see reflected in the interimmer that they hire. Data savviness is also a requirement as well as having integrity, being able to see the bigger picture and eventually, daring to take a risk.


In this cooperation, Newpeople has quickly been able to connect an interimmer to DutchChannels that seized this ambitious goal with both hands and dared to think bigger than solely the task for which he was hired. Not only has he managed to fulfill the requirements of his position but also given internal advice about the wider roadmap as well as making his colleagues enthusiastic with his vision.

Said interimmer was given the opportunity, after half a year, for a fixed contract to continue to help DutchChannels with its growth. This is an opportunity he took. Having a broader role, he now helps think about long-term strategy and together with the team, he is working on the healthy growth of DutchChannels.
