Omschrijving

For one of the sales departments we are looking for a international product sales manager e-books who will be based in Amsterdam. The international product sales manager will be responsible for extending and further developing relationship network and driving revenue potential of client’s online portfolio to the maximum while reaching high customer satisfaction levels. He/she will drive the portfolio in designated markets, liaise with the product group and support the account managers in the implementation of their account plans. You will report directly to the regional manager, works closely with account managers, regional managers and  and liaises with Product Development and Marketing.

Key Result Areas and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategy to grow the online book customer bases in conjunction with the sales team
  • Monitor and review progress of the strategy
  • Work closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth of existing online book customers while reaching high customer satisfaction levels
  • Support account managers with the implementation of their account plan
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and lead negotiations
  • Design and execute consistent sales standards and tools to help sales team sell the online book portfolio
  • Manage customer contacts and establishes frequent contact with customers by phone, at place of business and industry events
  • Review monthly reports, document sales results and forecasts
  • Put in place effective communication strategy for new product information
  • Participate in tradeshows and conferences
  • Deliver current portfolio growth of a determined % per annum
  • Responsible for T&E budget
  • Manage targeted decision makers in accounts
  • Grow customer loyalty and satisfaction Qualifications

Eisen

  • Master level education
  • Proven sales track record (approximately three years) in a B to B sales role
  • Scientific research experience
  • Product knowledge
  • Strong affinity with new technologies
  • Tactical account development and strong negation skills
  • Proactive, eager and driven
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Multi-cultural awareness
  • Fluent in English, preferably French
